B4 headlight led replacement

After 60,000 kms, my headlight leds are gradually going to led heaven.
I am torn between attempting a repair or just leaving it as is.
Has anyone taken their 2nd generation headlight apart at all?
Looking at the parts fiche, they are built in to the reflector, and the only way to get to it is via the small opening used for bulb replacement or to somehow unglue the assembly from the front.

I am leaning towards just leaving the lopsided look...

Mines the same. Have about two leds on one side operating. Had to fish the plastic led covers out through the hole after they vibrated off. Be interested to see if anyone's fixed them. Like you I don't think I'll bother, too much hassle. Brutale headlights are not MV's strong point.

Cheers

Yeh, the other reason to leave it is that in this country, headlights are wired to be permanently on, which kind of renders the led’s as unseen and unnecessary.
