Please check your headlight glass!!

I know there are a couple of threads on this one already but it can't be said enough in my opinion. My brutale 1078rr and my dad's brutale 910r were standing beside each other and i was looking at the headlights. Mine has the newer one from the brutale 1090 and suddenly the loose headlight glass issue went through my mind (i think this is why mine was replaced with the newer one under warranty by the last owner).

I checked my dad's glass and pulled it off with no effort at all so this would have gone wrong pretty soon i think. Will check my brothers 989r as well!!

So i post this just to bring it under attention again!
cruiser, esq'z me and nigelrb like this.

Guessing the brutale doesnt have the metal clips on it? My F4 is glued but it also has 3 (was 4 but one of the clips just came apart) metal clips around it.

Ryan, most F4s don't have glued headlight lenses.

Maybe just a seal holding mine in. I took the clips off and the headlight was still very secure.

Yup

The seal, #17 in the diagram, will stick if it hasn't been disturbed for years.
