1090RR Low beam out - relay?

Hi guys

my low beam is out on my Brutale. Have changed fuse as I found it blown. Have changed bulb too. Still not working so I figure check and change relay next.

However the shop manual mentions a no 52 low beam relay part but there is no page I can find that actually shows where the relays are and which one it is.

There are some relays under the seat around the fuse box under the pillion seat cover. Anybody know if one of these is the headlight and which is high/low beam ?

thanks

cheers

The relay is one of the 5 relays indicated by red stars surrounding the fuse box in the tail section:

Look for the one with these wiring colors:

First make certain fuse 4 is ok with a continuity meter.

I would also venture to guess that the cause of the blown fuse is the cause of the low beam not lighting. Check for rubs in the wiring and grounds.

All sorted - thanks

I updated the pic for future use. Actually the cables to the relays were labelled, just buried

Later bikes with LED indicators dont appear to have indicator relay

My issue was a fuse, after checking everything, I double checked the NEW fuse I put in and it was bad .....typical !
