2013 f4 1000 countershaft seal

Sorry about the silly question....

Does a 2013 F4 1000 have a countershaft seal? (is that the correct name for the shaft with the sprocket on it?)

I have looked at the parts diagram but I can not make out if it does or not.
If they do is it installed on the outside of the transmission casing and replaceable without removing the casing? I know this was correct for earlier models just can't tell about my later model

My closest guess is number 7 in the diagram but it is called part #800089410 RETAINER, GEARSHIRT FRAMEWORK,

I am trying to fix an oil leak can someone tell me if the clutch slave oil seal number 9 in diagram can be changed without removing the transmission casing as well pleas

Thank you for any help

Clay

7 is it......I think. Lot's of names for the transmission shaft. Some call it the counter shaft, some the driven shaft, some the output shaft.

Haven't pulled a gearbox out but many have. Looks like a circlip holding it in place. Someone will chime in. Are you sure the seal is leaking?

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Yes, it is replaceable after you remove the sprocket cover, sprocket and circlip. I ordered the same "retainer" or bearing seal for my Brutale and it fixed the leak. I also replaced the retainer for the shift lever since that was weeping as well. I tried using a seal puller but ended up having the best luck with a pick and flat head. Just be careful not to scratch any of the sealing surfaces.

Let me know if Star Twin doesn't have any in stock for you. I believe they come in a pack of 2 so I might have an extra if you can't get your hands on one in a timely manner.

Thank you for the input guys.
Just to add. I pulled off the clutch slave last night and found oil inside it. Does that meant the push rod seal is gone?

In the manual I have, part number 7 is: 800089410 ANELLO TENUTA GROMMET BAGUE D’ETANCHEITE DICHTUNGSRING RETEN G11 7

The key there is GROMMET. It is the seal. The retaining circlip is #8
