Lighting issue/ taillight

Seem to have lost my taillight and the front led. All fuses are good. Brake light and turn lights all work. If I turn key to park position taillight and front led work, just not in run position. Any suggestions where to look for a bad connection?

12 F4R 7k miles

If it helps I got caught in the rain last rideout

I've checked the connection at the light, ther right control for continuity pins 2-8, checked headlight plug. Does anyone know where these get power? I feel the park position is another circuit

From what I can see, using a 2013 F4 wiring layout, the fuse that controls those lights is F3. It is a 7.5 amp fuse.

Did you test fuse continuity with a meter?

If the fuse is good, then I would suspect a short to ground on the BROWN wire with a BLACK stripe.

This controls all "Position Lights" the Tail Light and the License Plate Light.

Thank you. I have checked all fuses for continuity, voltage on both sides with a meter and test light, and connections. I'm wondering if it's in the key switch or maybe the plug just haven't tore it down that far. My schematic is poor quality. I can't really tell wire color or pins. The odd part that still boggles me is they work if the key is in park position.

I can power up the + wire to the taillight and everything works like it should with external power

It took me ten whole minutes, but here is your diagram and where you can download it for free. Donsy's website: Team Double 3 Racing | MV Agusta has your manual in the form of Edition 3 of the F4 manual/ Location and excerpts posted below.

It works great~! This isn't a treasure hunt folks...the information is at the TOP of every maintenance section in a sticky thread...and has been for years now!
