Question Odd tap/knocking through L/H footpeg?!

Evening Chaps (UK it is anyway),

Recently purchased a 1078 F4 '09 and she's beautiful! However there is an slight odd tapping, like someone flicking the bottom of my boot through the l/h footpeg - and a little transference to the right.

It seems to be throughout rev range/speed and initially i thought maybe just a bit of chain slap knocking but im not convinced. Having zero knowledge of F4's i thought i'd join up here and see if anyone has experienced similar issues.

Its not a regular, cycling tap - more like a baby pigeon trapped in a cardboard box with varying degrees of panic flappage...

All runs smooth generally, great power - clutch is a bit 'difficult' but understand this may be the nature of the bike.

Perhaps a final drive issues/bearing? Cam chain?...

I will add its more apparent on constant throttle..

Anyway, all advice very welcome!

thanks

How many miles has the beast done? Has it been subjected to your winter roads?

FWIW, at 60000kms I have had to renew the aluminium bushes that are inserted in the shock mountings as they were getting quite sloppy (6mm movement at the wheel). I have also had to work on the Cush rubbers regularly. The goat tracks that our government tells us are roads are really harsh on vehicles in my area.
I would be going over the rear end and drive, looking for any excessive clearances.
