Bodis baffle question

F4RR with full bodis system,
naturally I’m curios of how loud it actually is without the baffles... holy car alarms Batman! Way too loud,
Now it’s loud with them all in, but it’s not a daily so it’s grand, experimenting though leaving the inner 2 in and removing the outer 2, doesn’t really get louder but gives it a bit more character, it’s a nicer note for sure.

My question is how much would this alter back pressure or will the ecu adapt?

I wouldn’t be riding hard, more just casual spins,

Would I need to get it mapped?

Agree it is effing loud without the baffles - I also find it drones annoyingly at certain revs. (I still run them like that sometimes though).

What I do now (most of the time) it run with the baffles in but with the packing / wadding removed. Seems to be a compromise between the baffled loud and bleeding ears.

Yeah the drone is a killer, you can’t be quiet even if you wanted to, you could pull the clutch passing a horse say (in Ireland it’s a daily oocurance) because the horse would freak with the noise, without the baffles pulling the clutch doesn’t really do anything.

I might give your idea a go it sounds interesting

@Smokeymurphy: There is a first gen and a second gen F4RR....it is germain to the conversation only because the ECUs are different.

Whoops, actually thought I posted this in the 2nd gen category.

It’s 2011

It is an amazing sound - low and growly at low revs and screaming banshee at high revs.

But fully open it really is too loud for the street.

If you put the year and model in your signature line, the question doesn't have to be asked.
