Clearance at the header

I took my exhaust off to have it ceramic coated black. When I put it back on, there is a gap where the header meets the motor. I thought it was there before I took the pipes off, but I'm not 100% sure. It feels secure and I don't notice any leaking. It does look a little funny though, maybe the black makes it stick out more. This look right to you?

Did the coating help reduce the heat coming off the exhaust a significant amount?

I had the headers on my Brutale ceramic coated matt black recently and didn't notice any discernible difference but towards the back of summer I was heading into work for my shift mid afternoon when the temperatures in Adelaide were up in the low 40's (Centigrade) so hardly surprising really.

I haven't had the bike long enough to notice a difference. I bought it a couple weeks ago and just put the exhaust on this weekend. I did it more for looks though. My bike is all black and the bare metal exhaust was a real eyesore.
