750 Brutale coolant drip behind pump

Hi there,

just warming the Brutale up before going for a ride and noticed a slight drip from what I thought was the water pump.
I slightly tightened up all the water pump bolts and thought that should do it.

Got back, could not see any drips, gave her a good clean then I started her up again when she was cold, I have drips again,
Got her up one the 1jac and saw a small hole behind the water pump where it was dripping from.

I have read up on this site, and it seems that may be my seals have gone on the water pump shaft, am I correct ?
I have looked at a drawing of the water pump that Donsy put up, what parts do I need to order, is it just anything that says "seal" or are there other parts to replace while the pump is apart ?

Look forward to your help

Thumbs up ?

It's the water pump seals........

you need the early style seals..... that's it .....check the bearings for smoothness

the repair procedure is on page 68 of the Engine Repair Manual

Or it is the inner water hose leaking.
On mine was the Click R clamp broken and I thought initially also that the pump is leaking.
