Installing a fan switch

Hi all,

Having had some overheating problems on my 1078RR Brutale I want to install a manual switch ahead of my trip to Spain for the Aragon Moto GP.

I've read I simply have to splice into the black/white wire from the fan relay and switch it to earth. I must be being a bit simple as I cannot find the relay, see photo of my fuses on the right hand side, please can someone tell me where the fan relay is, so I find this black/white wire.

Thank you!

An SPU is the Italian for PIA

Its an electronic box on the right side of bike which has miniaturised relay functions...

The Brutale 1090 RR has no SPU and has relays for fan and headlight beams.

I don't think the 1078RR has one either...I could be very wrong. Check your service manual.

The manual says I have a relay on the right hand side under the fusebox... I dont see one, just connectors. Seriously, am I missing something or isn't there a relay there?
