Custom valve cover bolts anyone?

2 of the OEM ones snapped in half literally with 5Nm applied to them. This should do now lol.

Ya I know. The valve cover was leaking and I didn't like it. I think the shoulder bolts ( valve cover bolts) are bottoming out on the cam caps before they properly cinch the gasket down. So i'm adding a 1mm washer to the 4 OEM bolts in place and added those 4 cap bolts. Should squeeze just right now with 10Nm of torque applied. If it still leaks after all this...fuck it I quit.

Silicone sealer like Yamabond or Hondabond might help too

If I had some I would send them up. Glad I got my work done before it went to worms.

You mean my local hardware store had parts lol.
I'm trying to think of creative ways to avoid MV Agusta parts unless absolutely necessary.
