Surge/pop when back on throttle (very intermittent)

Hi All,

I have a question regarding my 990R LE... I have noticed (every now and again, very intermittent) that when im in 1st or 2nd and completely off the throttle, then getting back on power (not cranking it, but just slightly, e.g. when riding round town).. there is a slight/quick surge accompanied by a little pop or 'cough' that sounds like its coming from the airbox or similar.

Does anyone know what this is or had any think the same?

Thanks

Simon

Cheers, Simon

My F4 1078 does that and has done since new.
Dealer told me it is quite normal.

Riiiiight.

When yours does it, does it sound almost like a misfire or something?

Cheers, Simon

My bike does it in any gear.
Also my bike has the Bodis system and race ECU.
I know my bike runs a little rich like Noel said, but I rather a little rich than lean.
Just exploding unburnt fuel.
