Front Wheel Bearing Question

I'm replacing my R312 bearings this weekend and needed some clarification...

Is the manual telling me to grease the outer race of the bearing before installing it? Is there anything else that needs greasing that can't be found in the manual? For example, the OD of the spacers or the spacer's inner face that mates to the bearings.

Thanks!

Also, I found my bearings on McMaster-Carr in case anyone needs some in the future. They're manufactured by EZO (click me)

DO NOT BUY the bearings listed above because of their poor ABEC rating of 1. Contact theknurl for the good stuff

EZO bearings mainly come from China.
Put some quality in there and get the bearings off Noel.
