Wheel Finish

G'day All,
Can someone in the know tell me what the gray finish is on the wheels and frame side members of 2000-2001 750 F4s'? Is it paint or a type of aluminium finish like anodising?

Ken.

If that is the case, it looks like no anodizing I have seen before.

No mate, look again - Paint on the 750 wheels, actually they are all painted.
Noel recons the Grey and Silver/Champagne coloured side plates are painted too.
Anodising on the black Brutale and F4 side plates and swing-arm.

all wheels are painted

all black frame plates and swingarms are anodized ( I scratched them to be sure)
