my 2007 F4 does exactly what you describe. same blinker work - don't work pattern when hot or cold. I have no suggestions for you - only empathy. Let me know when you figure it out.

So I ordered a new turn sigal relay from Superbrighleds. It works then it blows the fuse. But when I was riding yesterday it worked fine. Then when I came home to show a buddy that I fixed the problem with the bike on and not running its blow the fuse.

Time to look for a ground in the circuit...or that you got a relay without the counter EMF diode.

Yep!! So after taking a step back an a beer or two I found the problem to my relief. The wires to the turn signals where indeed grounding out.

Thanks again for the help guys!!

Good to see you found it. Where was the fault. It helps if we learn where the issues arise.

Cheers

I am very interested in this as well. I know I had issues with some parts of the wiring harness that I had fixed, but nothing with the blinkers. It was not till some time later that I noticed the indicators did not work[Ok ok someone told me. who looks at the cluster anyways? ]
