I agree that this guy is a bit of a strange individual, but there really is no need for name calling, is there?!?!
He is doing the best he can. He ain't hurtin' nobody and at least he is out there riding.....

From Dirt to track, My brother did exactly the same thing, He Has ridden dirt all his life and that's the way they ride.

Maybe not the place for it though. Maybe it was 'taken on closed roads under controlled conditions'.

In our nanny state, that is a ticketed offence, costs points on the licence plus $. Get caught doing that 3 times, lose the bike permanently and be branded a hoon.

That is Palomar mountain, San Diego county, California. The mountain is on Indian Reservation land the police can not come up there unless they are requested.

You can ride however you want over there, the main concern is someone blowing a turn and going into your lane other than that, don't hit or roll off the mountain.
