The CC is beautiful however at the current values, I could have a tambo + bimota.

Have you seen @drmasis offering??? He's practically giving it away...and with all the original swag (which adds massive value).

Welcome Zstyle, and thanks for the mention, Ed, I can't agree with you more on the value of my offer! Z, you should try to make it to the Gapalicious, early Oct, to meet up with a great group!

Just seen this thread....

Name is Mike, 46 young Structural Engineer. Currently live on the sea in mid Wales, but we have literally just had an offer provisionally accepted on a place in North Italy (Tuscany) as I enjoy downhill MTB'ing, windsurfing and snowboarding. During the week I play squash to a reasonable level most evenings. Another reason for going abroad is the UK (in my opinion) is going down the pan so I'm checking out. I spend a lot of time each year in Europe and it's a far, far better place than the UK at the minute. Cut my teeth on 2 strokes in the very late 80's / early 90's (first proper bike at 17 after passing bike test, 2 weeks later got a huge bank loan and bought a mark 10 RG500 Gamma. Owned it for 3 years, 60K miles including a complete re-build, only form of transport then and even did dispatch riding round London on it for 6 months for Amtrak Couriers....the joys of ignorance and youth). Ahhh, the smell of Castrol R...

Currently have a garage full of toys:-

Caterham 340S (bonkers four wherl fun almost as good as a bike)
GSXR1000 K7 (now track bike)
Aprillia SXV550 road toy
Suzuki RM250 2007 stroker (scares the crap out of me but great fun And reminds me of my youth / powerbands / 2t's)

And after having a play on an F3 at Cartagena circuit last November, I just had to have one - so a new 2018 F3800 RC was snapped up (liked the colours of last year's RC more than this year's, plus a bit of discount for last year's stock). I've always liked the look of the F4 RR's (and still do - the itch is still there that I may scratch in a couple of years).

Used to club race RGV250's and then onto R6's - didn't rip any roots up but wobbled around in top ten position in later years (43 was my race number, riding RGV's, everyone wanted 34 - me included - so I reversed the digits). Lost my stomach, spleen, a kidney and half of left lung (plus right shoulder is built like terminator) due to motorcycles, so been lucky (twice in ITU). Rarely ride on the road but track half a dozen times a year in Europe and at the Nurburgring several times a year. Spa is my favourite short circuit (it's just epic).

Not married but a bonkers wife to be who is Lithuanian. Enjoy reading and playing piano in spare time.

Hi everyone,
Just joined, but I had already found this forum so useful, great technical tips.
I bought a 2005 F4-1000S late last year, done about 2000 kms so far, there's an oil leak me and the mechanic are trying to sort out, but man what a fun bike to ride.
In my shed I have an '83 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans III, a sweet little 2018 Skyteam Ace 125 and a 2012 CBR250R as my daily ride.
I actually own two other bikes, a '69 Norton 750 Fastback and a '79 Triumph 750 Bonny, but both of those no longer live in my garage (stolen, many years ago).
Cheers, David.
