please help changed the battery and now not starting

hi guys

I am new to forum I have a 2009 mv Augusta f4 1000, we changed the starter motor and battery and now its pretty much dead,

I made sure all of the cables have gone on ect, checked the fuses they look ok.

please please help.

What the others already said...check battery polarity, and if incorrect start searching for diode threads in the forum.
