Repairing the ECU would definitely be worth it if you know how to do it. On the other hand, this is a 1.6M Marelli ECU which is also used on some older Ducati models, so you may find an affordable one for sale somewhere.

The interchangeable eProm chip inside is what makes it a MV ECU. Forum member Merc07 (Adam) can help you with a chip that will work better than the factory one.

I used to be I just dream about it.
