Ah, just a jump from @XPARAUK

Probably the worst thing about biking is actually waiting to receive it. I couldn't stand the long-term waits for a new one to come from Italy. Fortunately, you should be right for this week!

Welcome FAT you will find a good group here , knowledgable and happy to help out . You have a unique model. The last generation 1 came out in 2009 . The first year of generation 2 is 2010 . The 2010 kept the long stroke engine but with more Horsepower. the 2011 model was the first year of the short stroke model. So you see your engine is unique I would like to take a ride on a 2010 F41000R for comparison .

QUESTION: Was there a F4RR in 2010?

FYI ALL... MV is the only manufacturer that uses UPGRADE quality suspension and brakes as OEM/Stock components. I know this is confusing. let me explain... When you see Ohlins txx36 suspension and M50/M4 ect ect Brembo calipers as stock components they are not the same quality as aftermarket txx36 Ohlins suspension same for stock/OEM Brembo M50/M4 ect Calipers they use the same name but are not the same quality as aftermarket Brembo units. Recently Brembo recalled M50 or M4 OEM calipers but stated the aftermarket M4 or M50 where not the same units and not included in recall.

ALSO look at OEM txx36 rear shock the body is cast where as the aftermarket Txx is one piece billet aluminum. MV AGUSTA uses the better quality aftermarket suspension/braking components.
