Hello from Florida

Looking to purchase a 800rr dragster.

There is a 2017 black and yellow dragster for sale not to far from me for 19k OTD. The 2018's are 21.5K OTD but i'd rather have the 3 year warranty so if the 2017 doesn't have that i'll look at the 2018.

Does the 2017 models come with a 3 year warranty or only the 2018 + models?

Also do aftermarket exhaust require some type of ecu flash or fuel management?

Thanks!

Welcome to the family !!!

Not sure when the 3 year warranty began to be offered. Dealer can explain.

Some aftermarket exhaust will work OK with no tuning, but some will require mapping to run properly. If you remove the catalytic converter you will need remapping. If it just a slip-on the bike will probably run OK...but any bike will benefit from a proper tune in the ECU.

Edit your profile and add your location.....there are a bunch of owners in Florida. You may have close neighbors here.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

I haven't been to the one in Pensacola (yet) but between Miami and Tampa, Eurocycle in Tampa are a great bunch of guys and they are the ones I would give my business to.

Thanks for that information. Have you heard any good things from the dealerships Mellimoto and Sky Powersports in Orlando?

There is also a dealer in West Palm Beach named Powersports of Palm Beach. I'm going to check them out today.
