First time MV owner

Hi Everyone,

I've just recently purchased a 2000 F4 750S 1+1. I've always wanted one-such a great looking bike IMO. It's needs some overdue maintenance which i'll undertake in the coming months. Cheers.

Hi and welcome. Wouldn't be many of those in NZ would there?

Terrific bike and you'll enjoy the maintenance/restoration almost as much as riding it!

Welcome from across the ditch. I recently bought one for my son for his 21st birthday and at the same time ended up buying one for myself. We love them.

And no wonder! I have a long riding history with Honda, but purchased my 2007 MV F4 1000R on a whim. It had been a 'dream bike' for years, and one I always thought would be 'out of reach'. I have not regretted a single thing. Rides magnificently; does not have the brute, snap-on power of the Blade, but is more predictable until the higher rev range. Still coming to terms with mine because we're only just on the way out of winter.

I had an unfortunate introduction to the 'blown fuse' phenomenon, but was resolved with a new relay (high beam blown). Presently considering taking it to a 'ride in, ride out' suspension tech so I can be certain it's set to optimum settings. (previous owner weighed next to nothing).

Would love to progress to a Lewis Hamilton, but that's more than a dream - it's outright delusion!!
