Try geico. Progressive gave me a rediculous quote. I pay 800/yr with a nonperfect record.

Try Foremost too. If you have more than one sport bike with one company they sometimes get weird.

State farm doesn't care what make/model it is, they just care about your experience as a rider, your record, and the # of CC on the bike. I made damn well sure the VIN was correct and the make/model listed was right. Not a large increase for me coming from the R6... and it is listed as a secondary vehicle to my car (which discounts a LOT, more than half..)

Don't think state farm services RI.
This is quickly becoming very depressing. I have over 20k miles on my 04 and not a single accident, and 1 minor speeding ticket. Time to move out of RI

In CT I pay $320/ year w/ Progressive for full coverage on my F4 750. I tipped over my 748 in the driveway 3 years ago and had a check for $1,200 the same day, they're o.k. by me. I'm 50 w/ just a couple of infractions. But if I go on there website my rate triples... so sit down w/ an agent in his office.

Yes, check several different agencies. I tried Allstate before going with USAA (must be in military). There were good as long as it was your secondary vehicle. Answer to questions 1) No, not my primary vehicle - just pleasure/weekends 2) I ride less that 3000 miles a year 3) no track racing. This should help -of course it also depense on your record.

Good luck, Nic

Well I called a local progressive rep first, he told me that it was 9500 because of a couple small infractions, and if i had a squeaky clean record it would be 8000ish, he even went to say something along the lines of "well you know what happens kids turn 18, get a 1000cc super bike and bin it up, so we dont like to insure them" Called progressive direct and got the same answer
