Am I allowed in here?

I bought an 07 TE610 Husqvarna and love it

Unfortunately, MVs are not sold in Canada and it's against the law to import one in. My Husky dealer says he's working on that though I get a smile on my face everytime I take the seat off the Husky and there, staring me in the face is the MV logo

I also own a 950 KTM Adventure which pales in comparison to the fit and finish on the Husky. The 950 is going to be sold and I've spotted a Guzzi V11 Cafe Sport for sale that looks tasty. I've owned Guzzis before so am aware of their good and weak points. I have to say though, following a friend on the IoM while he was on his MV750 was like listening to a symphony. The bastid has also bought a Brutale.

Stupid Canuck import laws

Yep, I think you are! Welcome!!

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Welcome

You don't need to own an MV to be welcome here, you just need to be an enthusiast of the brand.

Heck, the founder of this forum (Alvin) didn't become an owner until a week ago.

Beat it Chump!

Acutally, what's up with the import law!? A load of BS, what possible problem can it cause to allow MVs in Canada. I hope you get one soon, smuggle it over if you have to, I don't think the custom officers will know the difference.

Actually, a private citizen can't import a Husky either. My dealer says it took him 2 years of wrangling with the government to get the ok to import them. Supposedly, each manufacturer has to provide a bike to be tested by our red tape,"I'm here for the pension", goverment people and I guess that MV thought it wouldn't be worthwhile to do it in a limited market. They don't get the bike back after testing. It's put into a crusher or at least that's what they used to do.

I'd sell a kidney for an MV
