The only reason the MV has got such a low percentage of the vote is that most of the squids who voted have not had any experience of MV's or have mates who have them so they can't express an opinion

I'd disagree. That's an amazingly high representation given that MV's constitute far less than 1% of even the *sportbike* population. I'd say out favorite brand is probably the winner if one considers the ratio of votes to owners.
