Factory Visit

Hello All,

I'm thinking about riding to the Factory in Italy next year and wondered if

a) Anyone from the UK has done this before? (If so any roads routes etc you could recommend)

b) What the chances of getting a tour of the factory would be?

c) what the chances of getting the bike serviced at the factory while there? (how cool to have log booked stamped by factory for its service )

d) If anyone from the UK (or Europe) would be interested in going/meeting

A whole week on the MV on some great european road just sounds the nuts, especially after doing the cannonball run last year and knowing what a blast can be had

Yea, you are not kidding about that! No truer words have ever been spoken. Unfucking believable! 77 is absolutely out of his mind! Balls the size of fucking coconuts.. I'm shocked we've got a real live Cannonballer on the board! Excelent!

Well unfortunately i didn't have the MV when i did the cannonball but the R1 was more than up to the job, she was fantastic and is being rewarded by being turned into a swish track bike

yeah, meet him on the run, the other guy with the MV was Carl, he's going to be on quite a bit of the dvd when it gets released. John seemed to be very pleased that he had managed to complete the run on his new bike. nice number plate as well if i remember correctly?

What's up with the cannonball thing? i've seen the movie...what's word on what that ride is/was?

I recently did an IBA event. What a PITA, literally...haha.

Re: Italy: I went to Tuscany/Umbria on my first bike from London. Do it when it is warmer...which I think you are. I couldn't get through Switzerland due to snow, so that sucked (this was October), But the ride through the Alps into France was spectacular!

I did a lot of motorway through France just to get there. Don't really recommend it unless you are pressed for time. Can't imagine doing it on an MV.....
