Try to have a drink before You take photos or use a tripod, haha..!
Now from the photo I see and what You wrote I must say that this F4 is quite a construction site.
The seat unit, tank, air box, nose fairing could indicate that it was a F4 in Diamante (silver) color.
But than the person fall in love with the SP-01's blue.
The wheels look like from a SP-01 as the seat and hump.
The tank panels where blue on the SP-01 as well.
But SP-01 or the Diamante had never blue frames or exhaust tips.
The lower fairings could be MV Corse or any other aftermarket.
No F4 came ever out of the factory with unpainted lower fairings.

As to lowering.....can be done to a small degree using rear ride height and sliding forks up in the clamps....BUT!.....you run a good chance of having the front wheel contacting the radiator...not to mention the loss of ground clearance. Side stand may need shortening as well, although most MVs lean over pretty far as it is.

My suggestion, learn to come to stops with just the left foot down, shifted over on the seat. Always get off the bike and push when you need to back up or make a sharp turn while not under power.....in other words, don't lower it.

Others may have a different opinion or experience.

In spite of the non-standard appearance of your bike, I think it looks pretty nice. Always a fan of the silver/blue Diamanté

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Congrats on the new ride.

Once you get the paint work sorted it'll be straight up gorgeous.

Sato Racing make a "link adjuster rod" which is a direct swap for the original and lowers the bike almost an inch. You just have to drop the forks through the yokes slightly to compensate for the lower rear end.
