Identifying an import

Hi! A newbie here and looking to get an F4 750 Circa 2000 year. Looked at one today and it looked good but no engine number on V5 and DK sold it new in 2000. Were they official dealers for MV back then, or is there an easy way of telling its a genuine uk official bike?

There was a registration number application form in there but that might have been from DK .

DK were one of a few that imported around that time mate. Make sure you check the headlight and see whether it is kicking right, if it is then be prepared for a swanky bill.
Also if you check the registry somebody may well be able to tell you the history of that bike.

The power one person holds is not determined by the individual but by the audience who recieves them.

Current stable:
MV Agusta F4 750 Senna 106/300
Triumph Street Triple

Thanks Dan,
It did turn out to be a parallel, so I've bailed out. However, another has turned up and the owner assures me it is a uk bike. No model stated on the v5 but engine number listed. It's a 2000 bike and I'm being told they didn't list the model Id on the early ones?
Are there any good suppliers of parts or is it a case of coughing up MV prices for everything?
