How obsessed are you with your MV?

This question is for those that already have one. I'm curious about to what extent does having an MV affect your daily life, such as:

Do you store your MV in the garage, with a cover, disc lock, with a certain temperature? Or just roll it in after a ride and forget about it?

How many times a day do you walk in to just look at it, rub away some imaginary dust, and look at it from every angle with drool collecting at the corners of your mouth?

Does anyone put in their living room? Or at least put it in the living room when you know the wife will be away for a few days..

Do you keep a dog-eared copy of FBF's catalog next to the john? While reading said catalog do you plot and scheme about all the mods you want to get and (if married) mastermind a way to get them on the sly?

Is your MV Agusta forum browsing habit so bad that you feel guilty or think that your wife/boss catching you on it is just as bad as being caught looking at amputee midget porn?

Do you go through withdrawal when you go more than a day or two without riding?

Do you see your MV as a gateway drug: Buy the bike --> buy all the accessories ---> a trailer complete with storage and workbench --> and then a truck to haul it all with?

I know this all probably sounds crazy but it's something I worry about when I have the $$$ to buy a F4 1000S. I took a demo on one months ago, thought (and hoped) that the infatuation would go away, and now I'm here still in lust worse than when I started. Please tell me that there's hope!

OK... I took the test. I would say I'm guilty of 5 out of 7.

You ask all this questions not having an MV...? Sorry to tell you but this increases after you have it...and there is no medicine for it...at least I haven't find it. To be honest, I haven't even look for it...I don't feel like I want to cure this "disease".

Welcome....

Smile Obsessed Not Me

Well I've taken a look and only score three and a half out of seven.

With a bit of luck I will find the cure to my lack of obsession and get to a seven as quickly as possible.

I just ride it in and forget about it. It's a bike. There are plenty more where this one came from and they'll be making better ones someday soon.

This is one of the nicest bikes I've ever owned or ridden and I've ridden, owned and raced the kind of stuff many others have only drooled over in magazines. But... it's a bike. Above all, it's for riding.

Zero. But if I'm out there it is nice to look at!

Never in a million years. The fuel thing is dangerous and it's a... motorcycle. I've owned some far rarer bikes and they didn't live in the house, either.

Never seen it. The list of mods is very short, pretty much the must-dos of present-day Italian bike ownership - mid-pipe, chip, air filter, mirrors and suspension work. Might do something about the seat though. And maybe try some other brake pads.

I *am* the boss.

Actually, my wife thought it would be nice if I had a trailer so we could take the bike along on some of the vacations. The domestic ones, anyway. But accessories, nah. No MV cover, no MV leathers. Don't even own an MV shirt or ball cap. Never had any of the Ducati, Moto-Guzzi, Laverda apparel either. Did have a Norton Manx shirt, though

Don't hope, just spend. And ride!!!

I guess the riding thing means I'm one for seven...
