Flat spot at 3200rpm.......

So, first week of riding the Ago and I noticed a flat spot at 3200 rpms upon engine braking down.

I don't seem to have this on the '02 Senna. It engine brakes smoothly down to idle.

Thoughts?

Normal?

Thanks.

Does your AGO still have the standard mid-pipe/end cans/chip installed?

I found that changing these items to the catless mid-pipe/RG3/Corse chip, made a big difference to how the engine breathed at all points in the rev range, especially at the bottom end.

The catalyst was just strangling it, I reckon!

These items were all part of the AGO kit that was originally sold with the bike- I hope you got these when you purchased!

The older I get, the faster I was!

I would think that a flat spot at 3200rpm is not as annoying or a safety concern as it is/would be at 5200rpm.

But:
A full exhaust system with a PCIII and a custom made would make your bike MUCH MUCH "safer"

Don't make excuses, Make it happen
