Something on the road surface?? Didn't seem like they were going fast enough to get that out of shape.

Pants up, don't loot.

There are always photographers on "the snake" on mulholland so people like to "try" to show off. It usually ends poorly when drivers run out of talent..

It's an increasing radius uphill corner with a tight entrance. Line of sight through the corner is good, and that causes most to get on the gas early. Coming into the corner off an uphill straight is also misleading.

That filming business has only started in the last few years. I left there in October 2007. At least up to that point there was no filming/photogs that I remember. Although as a rule since I liver just a few miles down Mulholland I usually got an early start around 7am (mostly to avoid CHP).

That section is particularly popular due to it's vicinity to the Rock Store. There are much better pieces of road nearby (Stunt Rd, Decker Rd, etc).

holy crap. That makes me want to take a trip out there just to throw rocks at those morons. Or maybe post up with a paintball gun. (is that illegal in cali?) Leave your lane... rock in the windshield. Sounds fair to me. I know its over a long period of time but that looks like worse behavior than our Dragon's tail on the east coast.

Alvin;
nobody in their right mind does Mulholland on weekends or the Crest, Ortega Highway, Mt. Palomar ad nauseum
haven't been to the Rock Store in 30 years and have ridden the Crest only twice in my life

there are way better roads too......as Red Baron said

you'll see an average of 4 cars in 47 miles on a weekend

my Hunting & Fishing Club has ~500 acres nearby

and the Kern County Sheriff's has been known to shadow me.....they are based on Lockwood Valley Rd. just west of Frazier Park......yes, I check on them
