f4 b4 meaning for insurance

ok,what do you guys reckon,listed on this insurance site is
f4 brutale 1078rr 2008
now these guys would not have a clue on bikes,but this is the one i will pick to insure.Am i correct in going for this,as all there mv bikes start with f4 ?

Im thinking its just a blanket statement. Like "Do you have an F4 or Brutale?" since during that period the bikes were a similar setup, just different appearance. I doubt it matters to the insurer the differences, its a 4 banger with X horsepower.

Famous insurance,over 40 ,I can insure it for 23,000 plus 1,000 for gear and it will only cost me 485.00 dollars a year full cover,My partner has her street triple insured with them.What do you think?

It sounds good but I don't know mate - they are underwritten by the Calliden group whom I know nothing about.

I worry about that after the Rodney Adler fiasco (didn't he get out of jail some 3 years ago?) of a few years ago when suddenly my wife's new Merc became uninsured - we lost the premium amount (about $700 - where's my money mutherfucker!) that was ok, imagine if we had hit someone the day before or something.

My wife's Guzzi which now looks like it's totalled is insured with "insure my ride" (underwritten by Suncorp I think) they are useless dickheads but at least they pay & have a solid financial backing or as solid as you can expect these days!

My advice is do some homework on who there are etc etc. Because a cheap premium can be pretty friggin expensive if they go belly up & you have an outstanding claim.

Thanks MVista,I know ,did a search on them ,but you never know when these guys will go belly up,anyway I will give them a go.
