Angry Death Of MVixen's Guzzi

Today I rode to escort The_castle & Melanie (who drove MVixen's BMW) to Lake Conjola on the South Coast, Some friends of ours kindly gave them use of a van right on the lake & next to Ocean.

Anyone, I had to return for mother in law's 80th birthday party. This morning as the cops are still out in force & the speedo is out on my F4 I decided to ride the Guzzi.

On the way back - I stopped on a bridge as traffic banked up and I got rear ended by a P-plater. Here it is in pics ( I love pics ) :

The ambulance was quickly on the scene & I was taken to Shoalhaven hospital & released a few hours later (I was collected by my son & daughter) and was back home in time to party with all the relatives

I am must confess I am a bit scared of will happen when they all leave & I am left alone with MVixen

I hope the insurance companies don't stuff around writing it off as there are a couple left (unsold) that I can replace it with - seeing as she loves that damn thing. Although I'd rather go see Justin at Trooper Lu's & replace it with a 920 Brute

Very sorry to hear of the accident. Great to see that you are OK. I hope all turns out well for you. I have the same fear when the interstate gets backed up and I have to stop. I spend more time looking in the mirror to make sure I will not be toast.

Wow

I glad your relatively OK mate.....Until MVixen makes you pay anyways

Seriously, happy your OK to ride again another day.

Don't worry, the Guzzi's going where all good Guzzi's go

Every cloud has a silver lining......

Exclamation Aaah Fuck

Bloody glad you are okay, and like everybody says, bikes can be replaced, although the Guzzi was growing on me.
Look at it this way, the year can only get better.
Really sorry to see this happen.

I am the same Andrew, I saw him coming as you can see from the damage on the truck, I went left and ALMOST got out of the way - the problem was that I was on a bridge & short of riding OFF it that was all the room I had. I reckon if it was a more experienced driver he would have been able to just miss me by moving 12 inches right!

In fact, the lady that called the ambulance said that when I got air borne she thought I was going over the bridge! She was freaked out & shaking and I had had to calm HER down

Holy shit!

I'm glad you're ok, but it sucks to see the Guzzi like that.
And i'm sorry for MVixen as she was so excited about the Guzzi not long ago.
Now what are you going to get to make it up for MVixen, a Brutie maybe?

Rob, that's not good.
No one likes to see a bike down, of whatever make.
And even less a rider taken to hospital.
Glad you're ok though.
I hear there are good deals on Brute 920?
Cheers.

She wants another V7 racer - I know there's a handful that remain unsold around the country, so it should be OK. I think it must be a write off hope they fucking hurry up & give Lou her money! If not we know a bitch lawyer that will make their lives hell

My coccyx is giving me little curry but we'll be right nothing a few Nurofen's won't fix
