To the non-enthusiast, this would be viewed a waste of time and followed by a bevy of, 'Why don't you get it out and ride it' comments.

For us, just looking in awe is as rewarding (or even better!) than a 100 mile ride. Good on ya, and keep the cuppas flowing.

Bang on M8! Part of the appeal of MV's is that they are as good to look at as to ride, not all bikes have that quality.

I have to disagree there! Although west mids weather is generally better than the UK average, the roads around here aren't that good, IMHO.

I used to live in North Yorkshire and the biking roads up there are sublime! I lived in a small village, now almost a town, called Sherburn in Elmet, famous for a number of things but one VERY important thing. That is a bikers cafe known as Squires, or the coffee bar! It has moved from it's original location in the village centre, to a place out on the Leeds road about 2 or miles out. It was massively popular when I lived there but now it's utterly mad! There can be thousands of bikes there on a sunny summers weekend!
The surrounding roads are brilliant, unfortunately now heavily policed compared to my day. I may well go back up there to live when I retire some day!

However, today, I think the MV is going to have some exercise, I want to revel in the ride quality of the new shock!

I sent the front forks off to Traxxion Dynamics to have their fork cartridges installed.
