Considering we can't get one in the USA and i haven't seen one in person, its the next best thing we can do and more of a tribute / respect for the design than finding a cheaper way out
I have the panels already, it is the painting that will probably be the issue. My painter has agreed to paint two bikes. I don't think there will be time for three and I'm pretty sure I don't have the skills for the Veltro paint job my self. It looks like three colors to me.

In regards to the Paint codes we have the Original Veltro Pista Owners Manual in English. Drop me an email and i can send you scanned pages of the Paint codes for each body part.
If it's done well, I think it's a great idea. As someone who has a matt black (a la SPR) F4, it would be wrong of me to criticise anyone's attempts to make their own look-a-like. Go for it mate!
Do it and show her to us ASAP. I like the idea.
I painted my F4 with the CORSE design and was a really nice project; trying to much the colors, the leather seat and having all the colors and decals perfectly in place.
I would love to do it. According to the pros, it is a lot of work. I don't have the skill to do it on my own, and I sure don't have the $ to pay to have it done.
Do you mean the Veltro rep? I do have a thought. How about a sticker kit? For a track rat, it doesn't need to be 100% authentic, so some flat black and flat silver. The greyhound would be a two color decal, the gruppo 23, veltro 1 and mv corse are 1 color decals. If you get a few guys together to share the set up costs, the two color paint is fairly simple than it is just a matter of applying decals.
I thought about a sticker kit. Some of the stickers on the bike are actually stencils where the carbon fiber panels underneath show through. Those stickers would have to be made to look like cf. I have some detail pictures of the bike and I think there are three colors on it. (front mudguard, 5-23, upper front corner of the fairings, and the airbox are all places where the bike looks stenciled)
But you are correct, it is just a track rat so it doesn't have to be perfect. Do you have any ideas who would do the sticker kit?
Chuck, we need to talk about this. I'll send you a pm.
Rob, I have a CF front fairing, which has been painted. I don't know if that screws it up and it can never be brought back to plain cf again. I need to find that out. The side panels and belly pan are one piece, also CF. I have a CF front fender. The rear fairing will be Catalyst composite, I have to order it. PM me your email and I will send you the pictures I have.
Al from Design Corse has already sent me the paint codes. Not including the Matte clear, there are three different colors of gray/black.
Yes, CArl...you are right. I just read this AFTER responding to your PM. Getting back to the CF is not an issue...it is some work though. It can be accomplished without too much grief. The Tank Detail would be better if you can get a paitable decal/sticker. The front fender detail can be painted. Everything else looks as if it would be easy enough to paint....
