The inspiration for a new bike build

I have been wanting to build my own bike for a long time. I have done it in the past and I really enjoy making a bike from all sorts of different parts. I have wanted to do this with a Ducati for a long time.

I need a 748/916/996/998/749/999 2001 frame or newer. I also plan on using either a 900SS engine or if I can get one... a 1000ds engine. Both air cooled, dry clutch twins. Plan on slapping on 1098 swingarm, forks, rims... Then I saw a picture of this bike on the internet and decided I also must have the tank that is on it... it is made in spain and is perfect! I will probably start working on this new bike in a few months! Anyway... here is a pic of one of the coooolest bikes I have ever seen. IMO.

Tell me your jaw did not drop. Mine did when I first saw it. Mmmmmmmmmmm

I like everything on that bike except for the tail section.

You live more in 5 minutes on a bike like this, going

I agree with you on the tail section. The tank is angular with hard lines... and the tail is rounded... No dice. I did some photoshopping on it I will post up a tail I think looks pretty good on it.

Thanks. The tail is from an 08 RS125... it should also be very very close to actual size.

Probably this fall when part prices start dropping Its hard to find a clean title Ducati frame for cheap.
