MV Agusta Opens Dealership In South Korea

MV Agusta Opens Dealership In South Korea

From a press release issued by MV Agusta:
Varese, 31st May 2010 – MV Agusta expands its presence in the Far-East and celebrates the opening of a new 5-floor store in the district of Chungdam-dong, in the heart of the most exclusive shopping centre of the capital city Seoul.

During the opening ceremony the whole staff of Motoquad, MV Agusta exclusive distributor for the Republic of Korea, has welcome warmly the large audience, among the attendants many VIPs were present.

Among all guests who have had the chance of appreciating the “Made in MV” refined quality products, the visit of the young Minister for Sport and Culture, Mr. Yoo Inchon, was particularly agreeable, who remained fascinated by the elegant and sporty design of the Italian motorcycles.

The store appears with an innovative concept nicknamed “Motorcycle & Coffee” and couples an extremely well-kept and minimalist showroom, dedicated to motorcycles, clothing and special parts, to convivial spaces well characterized and studied for hosting cultural prestigious events.

Close to the central body an outside hi-tech elevator leads to an efficient area of assistance and service, where specialised technicians trained by the mother company take care of the best motorcycles of the world with high professionalism.

The care lavished by MV Agusta and Motoquad is only the first step of an important journey to international expansion, which will enable the historical brand of Varese to reply to the increasing demand of the Asian markets for very high quality, taste and refined products, exact characteristics of the “Made in Italy”.

The showroom in Seoul will be in fact followed shortly by new openings of single-branded stores dedicated to MV Agusta, among which the store in Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia, expected in the month of June.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Wow.... they really are putting some $$ towards marketing and expansion. Hopefully a buyer is settled soon.
Maybe Kim Jong Il, will make a covert mission south to buy a couple of MV's for the palace.

Last Year When I Visit South Korea. I Saw 2 Ducati (1098s, 1198s) And 1 Mv Tembo.

The Cost Of Bike In Korea Is Us$ X 2 Or 3 . So If R1000 Is $24000 Here, Korea Is About $72000

So Imagine How Much Tembo's Gonna Cost. I Think Mv Might Do Really Well In Korea

01 MV AGUST F4S 750 RED/ SILVER (TRADE IN) (no more)
07 MV AGUST F4 1000 BK/WHT (No more)
2010 MV AUGUSTA F4 stolen 5/7/2013
new 2013 Brutale 1090RR Wht/Gold

I was working in korea for two years.. saw one MV down there, I went online and bought my MV back in norway unseen...

crazy part about korea.. you are not allowed to drive a motorbike on the highway! so you have to take the bendy korean B-roads with the red "high grip" asfalt in the tightest corners... (no.. it`s not good)

if they had been open when I worked there.. I would have bought one there.. easy!
