Arrow Are these PIPES Worth $750??

Hey guys.
I'm thinking of buying these Sil Moto pipes for my 750 SP03 F4.
It's located on Ebay, and just wanted to know if $750 is a good deal for them or not.

Item# 130375758313

Anyone has a sound clip anywhere of how they sound?
Or maybe someone can email me their SilMoto sound clip.
I know some ppl on this forum have them.

Please let me know,
All comments/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

~Sergey~

That looks like the same set in the "For Sale" section:

Try contacting "mvferrarighini" for a sound file.

I dont have a sound clip but its BADDASS!!! if the pipes are new then its a great price. If used I think I would go for 100 less. I think they are barely a grand new. Nice and throaty deep in low revs and screams exoctic when you get up in the pipes!

Look for dammaged tubes - I tought I saw some dammage , If they are dammaged (dented) then that gives you room for negotiations !!! PS> I was looking at the set on ebay a few days ago , I was thinking , what a great price, But then I noticed some dents . I bought a set of Sillmotors back in 06 for a $ 1700.00 (USD) directly from Italy.

I would never consider a $750 purchase that stated

"No returns Accepted".

They are damaged for one. Why in the world would someone pay 1/2 of new price for something that has this kind of damage ? It's CARBON FIBER. Do you know someone who can repair this defect and return the pipes to new ? Or how about the alum end caps ? ? ? ? ? They are f'd up too ! These will add absolutley no visual value on your MV. For a track bike these would be flippin awesome ! For a street or show or anything that you actually want people to look at these are worthless.
PLUS lets not forget you ride a 750. If these came from a 1000 then you will need a 1000 midpipe to match up to your headers. There's a little more out of pocket expense homie.

Take your $750 and wait for a set of RG3's to come up for sale. People sell them quite regularly and that is about where they end up selling for. Remove that listing from your favorites my friend.

But what would you guys say would be a "reasonable" price for them?
Because I offered him $580 shipped...is that okay price for the damage that they have?

If your going to put them on your bike and actually want people to see them and not just hear them I wouldn't buy them at all. You're looking a quite a process to put them back to new condition and that's the ONLY way I'd want them on my bike. You gotta ask your self just how'd they get f'd up like this ? Just how straight are the pipes ? He may not have noticed if they are bent or bowed.

If your going to use them for trackdays then their worth all of $500 but for street or show their not worth piss IMHO

Thanks Cooper.
I tend to agree with you.
These pipes probably did get a good blow to them in order to get the damage they got.

Thank you for all the comments my friends!

You should have to take some kind of guarantee ... $750 is not a small amount....
