Shipped my Brutale to Italy

I shipped my Brutale from Atlanta, GA to Naples, Italy back in November. I finally picked it up today! Although I had a heart attack when they opened the crate and my bike was leaning at a 45deg angle against the crate wall! It now has quarter size (or 2 Euro coin size) scuff on the left tank. Fortunately that is the only damage and I have submitted the claim with the shipping company. Anyway, as soon as the weather gets better I will head down to the Amalfi coast!

You can get that tank damage fixed for not too much cash. Enjoy, I'm jealous.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Amalfi Yeah!

But will you manage to look this cool in Almafi's main piazza (outside the Cathedral) on your Brutie?

The ONLY way to get around Amalfi, we went Positano, sent my wife & daughter on the ferry, we (son & I) went by road, stopped for coffee & brioche high the coast & STILL beat them to Positano. It took 45 mins to go 16klms in a car (Salerno to Amalfi) ... 20 mins (same distance Amalfi to Poistano) including breakfast on the mighty Piaggio.

Fond memories.....post up some pics, would love to see them & commiserations on the tank ding, I feel for you, that's the type of thing that does my head in!

Enjoy!

A bit of bad luck with the shipping damage, but i'm sure once its all sorted and you're cruising the Amalfi coast it will be a distant memory. Enjoy your trip!!
