How much does each Magnesium 5 star wheel weigh

Does anyone know for sure?

I have weighed the regular 5 star, the Senna rim, and the 10 spoke Brembo.

Thank you.

Lighter than either the Senna or the Regular 5 spoke. About the same as the 10 spoke as I recall.

I correct myself. The rear 10 spoke is 7.4 pounds, I didn't bother to weigh the front.

Which would be quite a bit lighter than the mag rear, if my math is correct.

Your math is correct. I'm surprised the aluminum rims are lighter than the holy grail magnesium.

but the Star Mag. rims aren't forged...... the forged Mag. 10 spokes are very light. I've done a hand-in-hand comparison at the shop once.

If at first you don't succeed, use a hammer instead

On the Oro the rims are magnesium not aluminum. Also the SP01 kit came with the magnesium not aluminum rims.

I have a scale in the "shipping department" and had a set of 5 stars, a set of Senna rims and the Brembo 10 spokes there at the same time. So I weighed them all just to see, for sure, which was the lightest. The only MV Agusta rims I did not have on hand, and probably never will, were the 5 stars from the Oro.

The Brembo (marchesini) 10 spokes were the lightest and by a lot.

Will I ever regret I painted them silver, as gold does not fit in my colour scheme

You will not regret painting them silver.

What is the readout? 89 and 32?
