Seduced by a German off to S1000R forum

Well pooped out for a ride to Loomies cafe last Saturday and popped in to Barnstormer in Alton, 15 mins later and I am on a test ride of a S1000R Sport with HP wheels, next thing I know is I'm riding home the demonstrator to show the wife. Im now the owner of a S1000R Sport in motorsport colours. I picked her up Thursday. My trusty Italian Rivale is now in their showroom. I will miss the Rivale as it was great fun. Thanks to all the forum members who helped me with the MV. Its a goodbye for now at least until the Brutale Oro is in my price range.

~Good pick up and my next favourite (current) bike after the Hondas.

As requested, I love to see a 'comeback' post to learn what you think of the bike. Or should I just lurk around the BeeEm forum?

Great choice. Heavily pondered one before getting my 800RR.

They gave me exactly what I paid for it, really good customer service too. Definitely going on a ride out soon, assuming the weather is warm.

The bike is brilliant, so responsive and will pull in 6th from virtually a standstill. It’s such a different bike so hard to compare the two. I prefer the more sporty riding position and the electronics are awesome, even tried cruise control today. My favourite is the up/down quick shifter with blipping

I test rode that model earlier in the year and can definitely appreciate the purchase. Waiting to see if there are any updates for next year (like the RR).

As stated, please come back and let us know how you get on.

Cheers-Brett
