Question identify Italia, blue... MV... specifics?

All,

I have seen pictures of this bike on Facebook, in a MV group. It is blue, it is MV, and it says Italia. Can anyone tell me the specific year and model please? If I ever found one of these for sale... yeah. Picture attached.

grazie

That was the 2008 Brutale Italia Limited Edition, made to honor the Italian football team if I recall. One for each team member and a similar number for sale to the public.

Almost as rare as the Orange 2008 910S in the USA....only 25 of those imported here.

By the way, 2008 in the USA...2007 everywhere else. It was just what MV did....we got most bikes a year after other markets.

Yep...that is what staff at MV USA told me. Not many of ANY first generation model MV were brought to the USA.

The greatest number were F4s the year Ferraci went AMA Superbike racing with them. They had to meet AMA homolagation rules for availability, so 300 were imported I think.
That resulted in some really fantastic deals on F4s the next year as they tried to sell off the higher numbers still in the warehouse.
