Lol, don't get me started...been married since 1987, lots of ups and downs, it is not easy.
Given that, here in the Houston, TX USA area, well, frankly the combination of sub-tropical climate, flat/straight/congested roads, and very aggressive cagers makes riding a motorcycle "challenging". Summers are the worst, but I have high quality mesh gear, use wicking base layer, high air flow Shoei helmet, and recently added Klim mesh/armored riding pants. And, I get up early and ride early before the heat builds. Key point: you have to be motivated, and also adapt.
Winters sometimes feature a month, or more of constant rain/gloom/cold/wind: so frankly the bikes sit waiting for good weather windows. Spring and fall and early winter are prime riding season. Venturing to the northwest towards hills/curves is rewarding, but many miles. Similarly, the coast can be beautiful Freeport- to Galveston. So yeah, some places take more determination. I grew up riding in southwest Colorado: riding paradise except for winter (then ride your snowmobile). YMMV, EOM.
