I have worked as a creative director in advertising for 20 years. Making ads for multi million and billion dollar companies for well lol 20 years. I have worked for and continue to work for some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in the world. I have also worked on clients who have advertising budgets one couldnt register and also clients with budgets less than a 15 year Mcdonalds workers wage.

THIS IS A FRKN DISGRACE AND EMBARRASSMENT TO THIS ICONIC BRAND. Which ever agency produced this, and Mv who approved this ad should be shot. I cant believe that they allocated a budget more than said mcdonalds worker to produce this shite. what a load of crap.

If one person on here tells me sex sells ill scream. I know ever advertising cheesy trick known to man, and yes have i have done those techniques, but cmon MV, u don't need this.
Your doing the brand no favours. This ad is not creating brand recall or awareness, its not creative, its not witty, it serves no functional purpose and again does nothing for or to the brand.
Money should be better off spent somewhere else.

I personally feel like calling Giovanni and ripping his FJGKLBn head off.

Sam u speak to him, tell him I said that.

If one person on here has the audacity to tell me that "your talking about the ad Rob" so its done its job i will scream.

This ad embarrasses me to say i am an MV fan, i wouldn't even look at the bike based on this stupid ad.
and also please peeps don't comment with
"tell us how u really feel Rob"

Hmmm, there was a motorcycle in there?

But seriously though, it seems like it was filmed during the "Justify my Love" Madonna time frame, which would of been very sexy back then, but pretty tacky and lame now (That woman is near perfection though). Personally I don't feel the same enthusiastic feelings about MV, all I see is a struggling old motorcycle company that is somewhat out of place in the industry and continues to have no clue how to get its shit together.

You mention you wouldn't look at the bike after seeing the ad, anytime I see this bike or an add for it I will be like man that woman was hot! not so much the bike.

You know I was expecting something a little more subtle...
BUT MV JUST WENT WITH TITTIES OUT MARKETING IN THE #METOO ERA...
...it actually got a little comedic for me when she started humping the headlight.

I see MV buyers, particularly for this bike, as lavish spenders, typically above the rules of their economies, and don't necessarily care if Giovanni is an eccentric goofball...
Just guessing here, because that doesn't describe my wallet.

Didn't they run another ad where the lady leaves her man, hops on her Brutale, and hooks up with another woman?!

I'm not going to say these ads are great, but I do appreciate the lack of a corporate leash they seem to enjoy.

And once more I wonder what the fucking (excusez le mot, but how relevant) problem is.
Are we all holier than holy world improvers?

I think what I like most about it, (other than the woman, of course) is that it reminds me of how freely this company is run.

in the 80's, my dad ran a transmission shop in the pristine little town of Alameda, California.
He had a ghost painted on his large windows for halloween...
"Make is a she!"... He told the painter.
He did.
"Give her tits!"
He did...
"Where's her nipples?"
Confused painter did as directed.
Of course the town was revolted by the thought of ghostly breasts and demanded it be taken down, adding to the shops notoriety...
This ad reminds me of my dad's free spirit. When it's your shop, you do what you want, even if it is idiotic!
He also raced some death-trap drag bikes, which I thought was pretty cool.

Ducati's marketing is fine, but would never be allowed to do anything like this!

I just remembered a comment from that deranged lunatic in the GPR thread, something about how this forum is the global face of MV AGUSTA and we need to behave like this and that.......and then this official commercial comes.

I FUCKING LOVE YOU MV AGUSTA!

I'm going to buy an extra F3 675 in blue to what I was planning because of that.>:)

My Fleshly side likes the ad. My Moral side wags my head in disgust.

With that said, the real issue at hand for me is that I can't justify $35,000 for this bike. I'd rather get an F4RR. I really want to Love this, and I do from a styling perspective. However the price point puts it out of reach for me. ...and I'm really not being cheap. Having just turned 40, I need to make the next 15 years count financially. I just can't do it.

I would rather see a video of the bike if iwas interested in buying the bike. I am certainly not angry over the ad the girl does have a smokin body. Then again I was always called a player but was never into porn . Its like being Hungry, if I am Hungry I don't want to see a picture of a pizza , I want to eat a pizza. if I wanted a girl I went out to night club and picked one up for the evening.. BTW not bragging my buddies did the same, there is always one girl that will go home with you. My 2 rules where had to be white and couldn't be fat lol.

I'm pretty sure he read the post in detail, Rob, and crafted his response accordingly.

My thoughts? I love the screen shot possibilities.....
