"not for sale in California"

Hey, I ordered some stuff online, Engine ice and Motorex chain lube and cleaner. On all the cans of motorex products there's a sticker on the top of the can saying, "not for sale in california". I did order it from out of state and it arrived to me in california no problems. I was just wondering what that's about? Anyone know?

It might cause cancer if sprayed on lab rats in incredible amounts over many years.....

But seriously, California has banned certain chemical propellants.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

I think they banned Honda Spray Cleaner. That stuff is like magic in a bottle. I think Honda had to reformulate it just so they could sell the product in California. That's what I remembered hearing. Damn strict laws.

Yes, all aerosols containing CFC's have been banned for nearly 2-yrs now. It's impossible to find a decent brake/parts cleaner in a spray bottle anymore.

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be about how we can't buy the 2010 model MV's in Cali yet.

Come on California DMV! Get your act together!! We need our MV fix.
