Lightbulb Fuel filter

I just had a idea, how about fitting the fuel filter in the fuel line out side the tank saves removing the pump every time.?As per BMW modification.

Where would you put it? I don`t remember if there is room under the fuel rail. otherwise it would have to spend time under the seat.

B750 and B1078 RR both gone now.

When I replaced my fuel filter I thought exactly the same thing. The smallest fuel injected filter I can find at Repco is from a Mitsubishi (I think) and that JUST fitted without extra brackets or extra long hoes.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast!!
