Finally

Yahoooooooooo, the new addition has finally arrived. A sparkling F4 1000 in blue and silver. Not new but an 06 model with 4000 on the clock. Bought a hugger from emoto, jolly nice too................

One question thou, being the later type unit which does not include the chain guard, it has pre drilled holes in it that locate with the holes in the swingarm. Do I remove the plastic bungs from the swing arm and use them to hold the hugger, or use wellnuts and screw the hugger on.
Any thoughts on this??

by chain guard do you mean rear hugger??? If so, then yes, you need to remove the plastic plugs and install rubber well nuts to install the hugger.

the chain guard is located directly over the sprocket on the the chain side of the bike

If at first you don't succeed, use a hammer instead

Oops, yes I did mean the rear hugger. Suppose the well nut size to be for 6mm screws??
