Best guestimate at this point is the RSV4 Factory will cost just under the 1198S and later, the standard RSV4 will cost just under the 1198. Some numbers I've heard recently are $19,995 and $15,995. Personally, I think the Factory will come in at $20,995.

The standard KTM is what, $19,995 in the states now? That would put the R about $3-4K higher.

No clue on the BMW but it's supposed to be within 10% of it's Japanese rivals. With the r1 at 13K, that puts the BMW at under $15K.

But it's all speculation at this point until the manufacturer releases the pricing.

The RACE BIKE has traction control, not the street bike. But they've left it on the table for future models. So apparently, there's more to come, i.e. higher spec bikes.

I see. It is for the race bike and in the "On Track Superbike" Section under "Moto" in the 4th paragraph.

+1 Pete, I agree. All the reports I've read is that it is sensational to ride because it is a bit of a torque monster.
