New B4, New F4

So I heard that a new B4 will be coming next year with the 200+ bhp engine from the F4RC. Some changes/updates are made to the styling with 4 exhausts.
Then the new F4, replacement, will come 2019.

This was from those who visited the factory recently.

A 200+ bhp naked sounds fun.
italia and italia like this.

Isnt there a bikeshow every year around this time? Or is it always around februari?
Curious to see the new naked bike. But isn't it a 1200cc three cylinder for the naked?

Someone on forum (cant remember who) said that one of his friends already seen the new F4(prototype or art)

Yes, EICMA next month. So if there is a 200bhp B4 then we should see it at this show for release next 1st quarter i think.

Yes also on the F4, heard from a couple of people it is there, designed and somewhat ready to go but launch is 2019 I am told.

So if its a new Brutale 4 cylinder with 200+ bhp, doesnt that automaticly mean that its the new engine for the new F4 aswell?
Brutale always have slightly less bhp than F4/F3 models and an increase in torque. So the new F4 should produce even more.

Cant wait for these new models. Really hoping it gives MV Agusta a boost in sales and bring compagny on solid rails.

I asked that question and was told no, its not a new engine in the B4, merely just putting the current F4RC engine into the Brutale but with some cosmetic changes.

I could however be totally wrong, just passing on what i heard from someone who has just been to the factory.

I think the CEO of agusta(Claudio Castelione) said in a interview the new agusta b4 will be released,, at least shown to the public
on the EICMA in november 2017
It will be 1200cc 4 cyl....
the naked marked is bigger than the sportsbike , hence first the new B4..(they desperate need cash flow...)
the former b4 engine is 1078cc developed in 2010(and comes from the 2009 1078 f4rr as a base...)and produces 165 hp when put on a dyno (the rr version)
so no doubt the new 1200 cc wil be 200hp plus....
they don't wanne be left behind by those ugly BMW's and KTM's...and even the tuono...
cheers
Peter

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS "TEAMWORK"

Can't wait. Saving my money for an updated F4.

Claudio passed away and now his son Giovanni is in charge now...

From what I heard the new F4 will be launched in 2018 as a 2019. So maybe we get it in Summer of 2018
