harley mv give-a-way

I went down to the local mv dealer yesterday and was talking to Sam the GM. They had a pile of 07 1000r's in stock all of a sudden so I was asking him what was up with that. Appearantly Mv is trying to completely clear out their remaining warehouses and is currently offering giveaway prices to harley davidson employees. Sam told me a ball park of around 12k for a brand new 07 1000r to a harley employee. They also sold an F4cc last week, now closeout priced to around 80k only! He told me they sold 14 07's last week already to harley employees...I sure hope it's not the cool new thing to do...have an mv sitting next to your harley.

There is a thread started by a HD employee talking about this very thing earlier.....of course, we were all trying to talk him into it...

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Randy has a Harley parked next to his MV.

Lee has a Harley parked next to his MV

I have a Harley parked next to my MV.

It is probably an old fart thing to do more than a cool thing to do.

Hopefully the buyers appreciate the bikes the way we do. I'm sure thats the case, MV Agusta has a legendary name on a legendary bike. A bike that would look great in ANYBODIES collection

I wouldn't call myself a trendsetter, but I do have an 06 SE V-Rod.

I cheat on my MV with a 2000 Heritage Softail and love riding them almost equally.
